Big Flame Thrower defines the street and hustle philosophy

Big Flame Thrower was born in New Orleans, LA, with the hobby of freestyling since the age of 12. He has been writing rhymes since the late 90’s and has always felt he was destined for stardom. Big Flame Thrower developed nicknames such as ‘Black Sheep’ and ‘World Wide’ because of his lyrics. However co-workers called him Rap-a-Lot, because he did just that, he rapped a lot. After releasing his solo project “My Time to Shine”, he became respected as Big Flame Thrower.

Now working on some new projects, Big Flame Thrower in the recent past has dropped the singles “I Be Working” along with the other tracks such as “Everybody Freak” and “Porn Star”. Big Flame Thrower comes hard on these tracks.

He has a raw delivery and puts much heart into his words. The beats are banging something serious and the hooks are on point. He has a kinda old school vibe to his style, but it’s still deep and tight.

Big Flame Thrower can go from lyrics that really get you thinking because they’re deep, to lyrics that really get you thinking because you can’t work them out at all!  I personally like his crazy lyrical style, and he comes at you with so much energy in his flows that you gotta get amped-up every time you listen.

Big-Flame-Thrower-300As a relatively new listener of Big Flame Thrower’s music, I may not be fully qualified to comment, but as a music lover for the last few decades or so  I’d say that “I Be Working” is heads above anything else his ever done!  His other tracks are pretty decent too but, this one defines the “street and hustle philosophy”.

His intuitive lyrical flow puts him up there somewhere between the best of the surrealists and the realists. If you think it doesn’t make sense, just listen with your intuitive ears open and the meaning and emotion will penetrate your brain and your heart as talks about his grind.

Musically, Big Flame Thrower has a great ear as he nods to the past and pulls the listener up short with some aggressive modern trap turns. They just don’t make ’em like they used to anymore, but Big Flame Thrower came to save the day with this one. What more could you want than a stupendous amalgamation of sharp vocals, splendid beats and scintillating lyricism.
