Stunning and unique among “ambient” music, never before has something this minimalist left me so transported and relaxed. I find most new age music to be boring or pretentious. “The Pine Song” is elegantly and deceptively simple, with a sureness that adds to the sense of listening fulfillment it creates.
Rich and deep, yet retaining a brightness and clarity to all the instruments, the danger here lies in having an over-processed sound, but balance was delicately achieved and everything sounds completely natural. If you looking for calming, serene well-arranged melodic music then “The Pine Song” is absolutely perfect!
It would be difficult for me to believe that anyone who is a fan of beautiful mood music and relaxation would not make “The Pine Song” a prized part of their collection. This inspirational music would fit equally well in a romantic setting or those times when you just want to escape into a visualized world of beautiful vistas and comforting moments. The music by HAZY DREAMS provides an effective diversion from the external reality and allows one to look within, reconnect with one’s soul, and experience the beauty of the spirit!
