Dit is Goed – About Audrius Razma
by Jessika Kortig
Life doesn’t arrive in neat chapters. It comes in fragments – scenes you only piece together later. After my Belgian-Dutch-French actress colleague passed away, I couldn’t let Antwerp drown in sadness. So, I put on my Pride shoes and bracelet, grabbed my camera, and started delivering food with other actors and tour guides. I filmed outside Het Steen as the city drifted into night, while at the same time, I watched family films at an open-air cinema in the New Port district. Mourning and everyday life ran side by side – and somehow, that felt right.

And right there, in that surreal in-between, I met my French-Thai wife. On our honeymoon, we talked about the future – about Ginger, someone still in a Belgian prison, and the child we dreamed of bringing into this world. We imagined my wife holding our baby in her loving arms. It wasn’t a conventional love story, but one built on patience, on waiting, on holding a dream that hasn’t fully arrived yet.
While waiting, I kept moving. I signed a sponsorship with H&M after meeting my sales agent from Luxembourg – the same agent who later travelled to Paris and brought in a partnership with Hunkemöller and cosmetic brand ICIPARISXL. Small bridges appeared, as if the universe was quietly building while I held my breath.

What I’ve learned? Resilience isn’t loud. It’s the quiet ability to see a whole picture from scattered pieces. It’s choosing to move through grief, not around it – with a camera in hand, with love in my heart, with the promise of a baby photograph that will one day grace a magazine.
Dit is goed. Not because everything is perfect, but because life keeps going. Because in the waiting, I can still create, connect, and believe. And the rest – the chaos, the uncertainty – fades. As long as I keep filming. As long as I keep moving toward our Paris Project.
