Adedamola Ogundipe, professionally known as Damola Davis was born in London but raised in Ibadan, Nigeria, where he spent most of his childhood. This was where his musical journey started and his love for making music was born.
In 2009, Damola Davis was in a music group called X-Element and they were popular in school. Damola Davis later moved to the UK where his sound was transformed. From SMC group to 2BADA, and now as a solo artist, Damola Davis’ sound has evolved over the last 10 years.
He has been regarded as a diverse artist, with influences from various genres of music. He has worked with several artists such as Mowille, Rotimo, Baseone, and Damibliz to name a few.
His release titled “Kabo” which featured Damibliz and Mowille, went on to air on major radio and TV stations, and was well received by audiences both in Africa and internationally. Damola Davis is currently on radio rotation with the track “Fire” taken off the EP “Flavours”.
