“Growing up singing over other songs was always a go to, but I never thought of them being my own words, knowing that I didn’t have no music background. So it made it ten times harder to pursue a music career not fully being exposed to the digital world,” explains YHN Prodi.
“I only just got introduced to the idea of making music 3 years ago, I would listen to songs on the radio or on my MP3 player not even realizing that the person singing or rapping was an actual person. Coming from the village, I didn’t live in a digital world and never had a phone. Some people will never understand that,” he says. “My goal is to make sure the music keeps getting better. I would like to go forward not backwards.”
