Twenty-three year old Pryce, who born and raised in Dayton, OH, has released his debut EP “Dear Hater” on January 25, 2017. Pryce said that with “Dear Hater” he wanted to send a message, “Either you gone hate it or love it, either way I’m coming for the top.” Currently working on another two projects, one with Purrcy entitled “Tommy Twinz”, and another solo EP entitled “Gold Assassin”, Pryce has been rapping since he was 13.
He says that his biggest influences on his music, is his team (Purrcy, Suave, Diego Hermes, Deno). “We so creative and different we just get that vibe off each other.” As far industry artists are concerned, he’s real big on Drake, Migos, Bankroll Fresh, and Rocko.
Pryce is garnering an impressive buzz with his unfiltered street music, coming off his latest release, “Dear Hater”, where he showcases his storytelling skills. On the EP, Pryce offers up 8-tracks of great rap and trap music that the fans will surely adore.
Standout tracks include the epic title track “Dear Hater”, “Hate It Or Love It” Ft. SGB & Young Richie, “Metro PCS” (Prod. BirdieBands), “Champion” Ft. Diego Hermes, “Where Were You” Ft. SGB and “No Hook” Ft. Purrcy. Throughout this recording Pryce also shows off his authenticity and knowing his lane and it is clear that he is getting ready to take his concrete jungle status to the next level.
Taken all together, these tracks will give Pryce a solid base on which to build a name for himself in the rap game, currently the most crowded and competitive music scene in the world. And by the look of things he will be doing this without any flamboyant gimmickry, or easy-to-latch-onto press narratives.
He is just a street guy who is really good at rapping and executing his sing-song trap flows. Which he timelt does on top of lusciously epic productions.
Pryce understands flow. In a lot of ways, he is a classic rapper, but he has the added ability of twisting his words and pronunciations. And the way he raps is different. In his delivery, he skates all over the tracks. His patterns are different from those of let’s say, Future or Young Thug, and he uses his flows in the context of a day-to-day street guy on his grind, striving to get to the top – not a larger-than-life personality already living in fantasy world.
And there is always room for that kind of authenticity in the game. So unlike many other up-and-coming hopeful rappers, Pryce already has a lane!
