The tune winds and twists, swells and dwindles into almost nothing, before launching into an encore of the chorus. Ty The Muzician often will simmer the groove allowing the listener to mellow out with his echoed vocals.
He just keeps surprising you with his music. I thoroughly enjoyed this listening experience. Ty The Muzician impeccably blends pop and R&B in a way we haven’t seen from a male artist in a while. He knows what he’s good at and never does more than that – which is a true sign of musical maturity.
This sound is unique, different, and almost jazzy at first, but it’s funky and smooth as gold by the time you get to the end!
When it comes to musical growth and artistic experimentation, and making a track that is just fun to listen to, “Song About You” proves to be a winner. A bit of Michael Jackson, some Justin Timberlake and a sprinkle of Pharrell Williams all come to light here, in varying measures.
The chorus is catchy and drills into your brain. It is impossible to not bob your head along to this one. I could describe this track as fun; sophisticated, sexy, creative, classy, inventive…I could go on… but…well…you get the point. This will definitely be on repeat for a while.
