About two months after the release of his new album “Life Burns,” released by SBÄM Records (worldwide), Sell The Heart Records (U.S.), Epidemic Records, Motorcity Produzioni and Overdrive (Italy), and after completing a series of Italian shows, Gab De La Vega is ready to go on tour with his band The Open Cages for eleven live concerts scattered across Austria, Germany, Czech Republic and Belgium.

The album “Life Burns,” the fourth studio album for “singer-songwriter with a hardcore punk soul”, is journey that delves into the depths of existence, with intense lyrics and a musical variety that ranges between punk sounds, the impact of rock and more atmospheric episodes, without ever losing that personal vein that has been formed over years of storytelling on stages large and small.
Gab De La Vega with this album captures the essence of life with a spontaneous and unadulterated sincerity that runs through all twelve tracks. All the nuances that make up this work are enhanced by the production curated by Simone Piccinelli, which gives “Life Burns” a depth to be discovered as one delves into the songs that make it up.

Gab De La Vega’s journey over the years has spanned Europe, including the United Kingdom, the East Coast of the United States, Canada and South America, and has seen him share stages with such major artists as Frank Turner, Against Me!, Laura Jane Grace, PUP, Chuck Ragan, Joey Cape and others. In 2022 he participated with his band in Frank Turner’s Lost Evenings Festival in Berlin, at the invitation of the British singer-songwriter, which recently added Gab De La Vega’s song “Off My Chest” to his Spotify Playlist “Record Shop Vol 2”, which includes some of the music that Turner has been listening to recently.
