Irish Mezzo-Soprano, Raphaela Mangan sings, “Non, je ne regrette rien”

Raphaela Mangan is a mezzo-soprano who has received a First Class Honours Degree from the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama in Dublin and a Post Graduate Distinction from the Flanders Opera Studio in Belgium. She has performed in various opera roles across the UK and Europe, including in Ireland with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra and the Irish Baroque Orchestra. Raphaela has also performed in concert at the Usher and McEwan Halls in Edinburgh and the Linbury Theatre in London. In addition to her opera performances, she has sung with choral societies in Ireland and Britain, including in productions of Verdi’s Requiem, Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius, and Handel’s Messiah.

Raphaela Mangan is a great mezzo-soprano singer who has a strong and versatile vocal range, excellent voice control and expression, and a commanding presence. She is able to sing a wide range of repertoire, from opera and classical music to musical theater and popular songs. Raphaela Mangan premiered her version and video of the song, “Non, je ne regrette rien” on December 27, 2022 via YouTube. “Non, je ne regrette rien” is a French song that was released in 1956 and written by Charles Dumont and Michel Vaucaire. It became popular when Édith Piaf released a recording of the song in 1960, which reached the top of the French Singles & Airplay Reviews chart for seven weeks. The song title translates to “No, I do not regret anything”.
