Colin Browen is an 18-year old country-rock artist from Austin, TX. With his signature blend of southern-fried rock n’ roll and sultry modern pop, Colin intends to keep good ol’ southern rock alive and kicking while at the same time bringing it into the 21st century. Colin is also host of a ghost hunting television show called “The Paranormal Files” (“The Paranormal Files (Official)” on Youtube!

The music is very driven and strong on the drums. If you really listen to the lyrics, they are surprisingly tender and emotional, considering the musical commotion Bowen puts them through!

This is Southern roots rock combined with haunted soulfulness that goes miles beyond what’s playing on the radio today. Browen is his own artist with his own Southern fried sound and it doesn’t just cross genres—it defies them – kicks them down and rolls right through!
Playing through the 4 songs that make up the album – “Let’s Party”, “Good Girl”, “Blink” and “More Than Luck”, you could easily breakdown the accolades into instrumentation, vocals, arrangements or radio-readiness, but ultimately music is about whether it makes you feel something. Do you pound the steering wheel so hard the car swerves, or do you wake the neighbors while listening at high volume. Or maybe you punch the air with your fist and sing-along out loud – well if any of that happens while listening, then that’s the music you need in your life. And the “Blink – EP” is that music!
Top that with the fact that Colin Browen’s voice has the grit and drawl that brings authenticity to the songs. And at the same time he also has really great skills in capturing the essence of a story and distilling it down to lyrics of a song. All this translates into a very enjoyable listening experience, if you have any interest in rock music at all.
