A Data Scientist, former Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant from 2 major research universities who has no criminal background, Jason Miller has been indicted with a felony hacking charge and faces years in prison for harmlessly prank-hacking the WiFi signal of a fellow hacker who hacked him first in their Silicon Valley programming club called the Hacker Dojo. Now SaveaNerd.net is asking for the help of the public in the legal case that has been filed against against Jason Miller, who is facing a felony count of causing damage to a protected computer, federal prison time and a $15,000 penalty for a harmless, provoked WiFi prank. He is an innocent citizen, well-respected scientist, recent university TA and GRA, and a law-abiding citizen whose indictment was wrongful and filled with violations of ethics and law, accompanied by exaggerations and outright lies to give basis to the ridiculous charge.
To round-up more support in facing this injustice and call for the charge to be dropped immediately, Musical Tribute entitled Hacker Dojo Hacktivist Bounce (a.k.a. Free Miller) has been produced and released, with the contribution of artist Dru Vocals.

These are just the first to verses that go straight to the heart of the question without much ado. The track features Dru Vocals’ vivid, graphic and often insightful rap flows of what has been happening to Jason Miller and what could easily happen to many others in the current state of affairs.
I wasn’t sure what to expect but the track is really amazing to the ear. Good lyrics, great flow, and a nice production. Today a lot of rap music sells gimmicks, facades and elaborate bling bling images that idiots are attracted to. Hacker Dojo Hacktivist Bounce (a.k.a. Free Miller ) brings back the nostalgia of what rap was born from initially; the will to vociferate real social or political issues to the masses – a vehicle, able to communicate the facts, from the grass roots level, upwards.
Amongst a few others, Hacker Dojo Hacktivist Bounce (a.k.a. Free Miller ) in my mind represents a direction in hip hop that is necessary in keeping the genre alive and going in the direction it was meant to go, with rich music and intense lyricism containing a serious message. Moreover the track fully succeeds in its intent to divulge Jason Miller’s story and give us an insight into the absurd legal developments in the digital world.
