American singer-songwriter, record producer, fashion designer, and entrepreneur Dan “The Man” has revealed that he would rather give the money from his partnership with Urban Culture brand Pahnda Blac to Pandas International, a nonprofit organization than spend it on himself. The 30-year-old made the decision after seeing the Wolong Panda Center on Animal Planet. After the plight of the Giant Panda left such a dramatic impression on him, Dan “The Man” told the executives at Pahnda Blac that he was going to donate all of his profits from their partnership to Pandas International, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. Dan “The Man” says that after building a relationship via email with Andrea Muller, Assistant Director/Adoption Coordinator at Pandas International it just seemed like a “no brainer” to join forces and help them with their goals of ensuring that not one captive or wild panda is lost; that the species propagates and thrives; and, that their habitat is preserved in a responsible and sustainable manner.
Dan “The Man” propagates the idea of World Peace. When interviewed for this article he said that “Over the centuries, the Giant Panda became a symbol of peace and friendship because it eats bamboo and doesn’t hurt other animals. Over a thousand years ago, images of pandas were used on flags to signal the end of fighting or agree on a truce.” The Giant Panda is strong peaceful and mindful, many senior level executives would say these characteristics align with Dan “The Man” as well.
“I’m not going to cut down on [philanthropy] so I can have another ride in an Uber Black,” said the rapper, whose latest single Believe’Land USA has almost 100k views on YouTube. “I want to make sure everyone understands that we will fight for World Peace.” Dan “The Man” is the Membership Officer of the United Hemp Biofuel Association. Their goals are to build an ever thriving and profitable hemp bio-fuel industry in the USA and promote the prevention of Carbon Emissions, the leading cause of Global Warming. He is also partnered with the United States Lifeline program, where he provides “Obama Phones” and Tablets to low income families. “I want to give more life to you than I take away from you” Dan “The Man” said.
Interview With Dan:
What’s your name?
My name is Dan “The Man”
Where are you from?
I’m from Cleveland, Ohio born and raised on the playground is where I spent most of my days playing tennis baseball or basketball at the park or hanging out on the block trying to learn how to hustle.
How old are you?
30 years old and eventually I’m going to download my consciousness into the cloud and live forever in The Metaverse but that’s supposed to be a secret.
When did you start making music?
I started making music way back when we still had MySpace and Tom was still my best friend.
How serious are you about your career?
I’m so serious I have made it my number 1 priority, I’m curious to learn more about music everyday, I’m a fan of music and other musicians, my family knows I put music first even in front of them sometimes, it’s involved in all of my decision making, I trust music to keep me sane, I want to master it, it’s included in all of my future plans, It’s one of the first things on my mind when I wake up in the morning.
Have you ever thought about quitting music?
Yes, I have but I’m so passionate about it that it’s either do music or become an alcoholic. I would rather take a gamble on my music than on liquor which is poisonous. The word “Alcohol” comes from the Arabic “al-kuhl” which means “BODY EATING SPIRIT” and gives root origins to the English term for “ghoul”. In Middle Eastern folklore, a “ghoul” is an evil demon thought to eat human bodies, either as stolen corpses or as children.
By consuming alcohol into the body, it in effect extracts the very essence of the soul, allowing the body to be more susceptible to neighboring entities most of which are of low frequencies (why do you think we call certain alcoholic beverages “SPIRITS?”). That is why people who consume excessive amounts of alcohol often black out, not remembering what happened. This happens when the good soul (we were sent here with) leaves because the living conditions are too polluted and too traumatic to tolerate. The good soul jettisons the body, staying connected to a tether, and a dark entity takes the body for a joy ride around the block, often in a hedonistic and self-serving illogical rampage. Our bodies are cars for spirits. If one leaves, another can take the car for a ride. Essentially when someone goes dark after drinking alcohol or polluting themselves in many other ways, their body often becomes possessed by another entity.”
I became aware of this phenomenon years ago, but most recently while on mushrooms this past Halloween I was given a vision. I was transported as an observer above a popular bar and nightclub. Above the venue where a variety of ghoul-like entities. Inside the bar were people drinking alcohol, socializing, dancing, and so on. I watched as certain people became very drunk. I saw their souls, while connected through a thread, exited the body. I understood that the soul was leaving the body because of the great discomfort of being in a body highly intoxicated with alcohol. When the soul exited the body, other non-benevolent entities entered or latched onto their vacant shells. Once the entities took hold of the body, they used the body to play out all kinds of dark acts, such as violence, low-level sexual encounters, destructive behaviors, and more. I love vibrating in higher dimensions and liquor is the anti-.
Who inspires you the most?
Capitalism and The American Dream inspires me the most. I HAVE to get my family out of oppression. I have three sons and my father wasn’t shit to me or for me growing up. My mother was adopted so the only real family I know that I am related to by blood are her and my children. We don’t have a family trust we are in debt and every day I have to create new ways and ideas to solve systemic racism, and know who to and who not to trust. I am thankful for the family I was given through adoption and every day I build from the foundation God has given me.
What got you into making music?
I got into music by making beats with my ink pen in class when I was in middle school and then making techno beats in 9th grade on Fruity Loops and rapping at the lunch table. I have always had my own artistic style. Many people compare me to Georges Gaudy because I like everything to be glamorous and over the top. I think I’m more like The Great Gatsby but whatever.
Who is your favorite producer?
My all-times favorite producer is Pharrell. He has shaped hip hop culture even before Kanye. Pharrell was the first to wear the pink polo and intertwine that skate rap urban culture that’s so mainstream today.
What is one of your best songs/beats?
My best song numbers wise is Believe’Land USA. It has only been out three months and has over 100k streams. It’s a Cleveland Browns themed rock tune about our cities crazy fans. People in their 50s and up love rock music about their cities so I had to bless my senior statesmen with that particular joint. It only seemed right.
Are you signed to a record or label?
No
Have you ever performed?
Yes but Covid has put a strain on performances still. I am 100% fully vaccinated too!
Who would you most likely collaborate with?
I want to do an album with maybe Korn or Limp Bizkit for sure. Maybe even Smashing Pumpkins tbh.
If you could open for any artist, who would it be?
I want to open for Jay Z and Kanye West on their Watch The Thrown 2 Tour because the amount of affluent people I can meet in those arenas will continue to change my life and our families social ranking. The goal is to not have to shuck and jive forever because I have to but because I want to.
What’s next for you?
Taking a piss and washing my hands with soapy warm water for 20 seconds!
