“Cabin Fever” (Covid-19 Song/Poem)” – Shawn Hastings captures candid moment

With hundreds of thousands of people infected around the world, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is threatening the globe. Many entertainers, actors, musicians, rappers, writers and poets have been putting out material to inspire, encourage and make others feel comfortable with their isolations due to social distancing. Shawn Hastings has come up with his own hybrid acapella song, and spoken word poem “Cabin Fever” (Covid-19 Song/Poem).

While COVID-19 continues to spread it is important that we take action to prevent further transmission, reduce the impacts of the outbreak and support control measures. However, the current situation may feel very worrying for some, increasing levels of anxiety and stress. “I think this song captures how many of us are feeling right about now,” says Shawn Hastings, on introducing “Cabin Fever” (Covid-19 Song/Poem).
