MalikStone: “Money Liquor and Sex” ft. C. Ross – the perfect mixture of style, attitude and catchiness!

MalikStone has performed multiple times in the Hampton Roads area. DJs are spinning his tracks in nightclubs and his music is being played on online radio stations as well as radio stations in Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia. MalikStone has one primary mission: to share his musical productions with people of all walks of life and hope they allow themselves to fully experience music in its essence!

MalikStone-250MalikStone is currently repping his track, “Money Liquor and Sex” ft. C. Ross. For one thing MalikStone’s lyrics are phat. He’s a great rapper but isn’t in the limelight like other far less skilled…well no-skilled rappers. On this track he mixes the old with new, throwing in tons of melody and dancing rhythms.

The music is current mainstream dance-floor ready; the synths reek of old-school disco vibes, while the rhymes and flow take us back to the golden age of hip-hop. But just when you’re opting for the old-school tag, in jumps the bouncy pop chorus hook!

MalikStone has basically topped this track up with all the goodies – East Coast grind and West Coast groove. What more could you ask of a rap track? Ladies and gentlemen, I bring the most underrated rapper ever to touch a mic.

MalikStone-300If you have not yet checked him out, I strongly suggest you do, MalikStone is an competent lyricist, and has breathtakingly good punchlines. He has a smooth voice, an amazing flow, and a stunningly easy-going multi-syllable rhyme scheme.

There may be plenty of MCs with deeper and more enlightened content to their rhymes (what would you be expecting with a title such “Money Liquor and Sex”?), but there are few with a more distinct delivery and a more natural flow. And for sheer, unadulterated rhyming skill, he can hardly be touched by most.

MalikStone has a confident swagger that is evident in his music, and his flow is crisp and clear on “Money Liquor and Sex”. He also puts a strong emphasis on the final syllable of each of his lines, which adds that extra force to his rhymes.

C.Ross also has plenty of space to anchor his catchy vocal hooks as the track is equally divided between instrumental, singing and rapping phases.  It’s the perfect mixture of style, attitude and catchiness!
