Atlas Screams: “Afternoon Anthem” gets your rhythms flowing with true flex and skill!

Atlas Screams is an electronica artist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He produces new songs weekly and his entire discography is available for free at www.soundcloud.com/atlasscreams. Two weeks ago Atlas Screams dropped the Tropical track, “Afternoon Anthem”. It was quite a while ago, when I started listening to Chillout music, and it really took to me in a way no other type of electronic music has done before. Chillout helps you to relax and unwind, let all your troubles drift away care-free! That’s what I really love about this kind of music. Atlas Screams’ tropical vibe has that same effect; it’s just a little more upbeat and uplifting. So your troubles drift away but you don’t fall asleep!

Atlas-Screams-250“Afternoon Anthem” is dangerously exotic. The combination of the cool, breezy piano rhythm, the snappy snare drum beat, and the sweet and alluring synth melody make this track killer. I had no idea of who Atlas Screams was before I heard this, but my brain demanded more and my finger demanded me to hit the replay button. My ears fell in love and it is music I play when I want to relax. I throw myself on the sofa melt away into my own imagination. For me this music is orgasmicly thrilling for my ears. I’d call it sexy but that would be misleading. It is sexy, don’t get me wrong, but it’s deep and soothing on a different level.

Atlas Screams gets your rhythms flowing with true flex and skill, taking drum track flavors to a new level. Chemical savvy is in this mix of musical marinade. The sound immediately takes over your mood and emotions and puts you in a happier, yet pensive state of mind. I’m quite used to music taking over my body and causing me to sway at the very least. But it’s rare that had I hear music that takes your entire mind to a place of pleasure, ecstasy and meditation, like a lucid drug. That’s the effect “Afternoon Anthem” will have on you!
