A successful record executive, artist, and self-made social media professional, Absoloot embraces an industry that has made and broke countless individuals before him. Absoloot has licensed 7 songs to Don King and had Sony use his music in PlayStation video games. He was invited to attend the 2009 Grammy’s for his album “My Way,” and was recognized by The BMA’s (Billboard Music Awards) for his songwriting accomplishments.
Absoloot’s list of accomplishments has continued to expand and progress forward, gaining more momentum as he makes moves. Hailing from the Sunshine State, the Jook Capital, Absoloot’s sound blends the new school flavor with a hint of old school nostalgia, in every aspect from delivery to production.
Absoloot recently dropped his latest track entitled “THE TRUTH”, and once again takes the industry and fans by surprise. If you don’t know this artist yet, get ready, because his vast flood of ideas could come off overwhelming for the faint-hearted.
Spend enough time with his craft, though, and this track will prove to be intensely alive, celebrating the human potential for triumph over discrimination, recognizing how completely things can go awry when too few people have too much legal power, and condemning the scars left by American history which are ruthlessly reopening those old wounds and filling them with finely grained sea-salt.
While the track is a lyrical landmark for Absoloot, above all, there’s no denying that “THE TRUTH” is a rich body of work all around. It makes sense that the track is absent of musical boundaries. Absoloot’s thoughts are all over the place — from Fort Lauderdale to Congress, from the lows of economic depression to the ultra-lows of police brutality and political arrogance.
There is nothing as thematically prevalent as Absoloot’s urge for black Americans to rise above it all, but he’s also enamored with the nation as a whole, hence his great delusion in current socio-political events which are destroying the country’s intrinsic principles.
Its dead-serious stuff, but you can still groove and nod your head to the riding beat. This track should push you to a better place, a place of “THE TRUTH”, and a place you should have no intention of ever leaving!
