[tweetmeme] [fbshare type=”button”] Both rhythmical and melodic, Adam’s Attic roll off a powerfully strident pop rock sound led by the superb voice of songwriter Joe Henry. Adam’s Attic fit into the modern billboard chart rock sound like a glove. Catchy lyrics, rocket rhythms and layers of thunderous guitar riffs, delivered by Derek Henry on Bass, Scott Baez on Drums and Frank Desalvo on Guitar, all arranged and mixed to capture your undivided attention. Simply put, Adam’s Attic are radio ready and raring to go!
Through hard work and personal sacrifice, the independent band knows the meaning of developing a solid marketing strategy and building a strong foundation. The group has seized one success after another by headlining numerous sold out shows at the House of Blues and Hard Rock Cafe, touring four different continents, playing for crowds exceeding 11,000, receiving sponsorships in excess of $115,000, and penning more than fifty original songs registered with BMI. With the accumulation of small successes that led to becoming darlings of New Orleans, Adam’s Attic is a rising star in the world market.
In February 2010, Adam’s Attic became the first runner up in the KTLA (Los Angeles) Battle of the Bands competition running just 4 votes short the winning band. The band performed live on the KTLA Morning News for a televised viewership of 3 million plus. With the momentum gained from the KTLA competition, many performance opportunities have propelled the Adam’s Attic forward like Universal City Walk, United Way’s Walk United at Angel Stadium, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, CBS Television, etc. Within 120 days, Adam’s Attic made a second appearance on KTLA Morning News on June 2010.
