  1. Lyon Brave, your career spans education, music, and marketing. Can you tell us about your journey and how you managed to excel in such diverse fields?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: Well, let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride, like a rollercoaster with no seat belts. I’m Lyon Brave, and I don’t settle for just one thing. I’m a multi-talented hustler who doesn’t take no for an answer. You know, I’ve got more hats than a hat store, and I wear ’em all with style.

  1. Can you share with us a pivotal moment that ignited your passion for music?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: Oh, the ignition moment! Picture this: I rhymed “cat” with “hat” and thought I was the next lyrical genius, strutting my stuff like a musical gangster. That’s when I knew music was my game.

  1. Can you reflect on some of your musical influences from your formative years? How have they played a role in shaping your artistic identity?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: From Whitney to Zeppelin, my musical influences are like the Avengers of the music world, and I’m their secret agent. They taught me the art of being eclectic and fearless. I don’t follow the crowd; I am the crowd.

  1. What were some of the challenges you faced while honing your craft, and how did you overcome them to reach the level you’re at today?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: Challenges? You bet! I once belted out “Bohemian Rhapsody” in the shower and nearly turned my bathroom into a waterpark. But the hurdles just made me stronger, like a musical superhero with a killer sense of humor.

  1. Your career has been characterized by versatility and dedication. What are the key values or principles that guide you in your pursuit of excellence in your various endeavors?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: I live by three rules: Versatility, determination, and charisma. I’m the triple threat you didn’t see coming. Excellence? It’s my middle name, darling. Why be one thing when you can be everything?

  1. Your musical compositions are known for their intricate rhythms and captivating lyricism. Could you tell us about your creative process and how you bring these elements together?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: Oh, the creative process is my playground. It’s like making a crazy cocktail of emotions, experiences, and a pinch of magic. I write from the heart, add catchy hooks, and bam, Lyon Brave magic is served.

  1. As an artist dedicated to creating content that resonates with a diverse audience, how do you ensure your music speaks to people from various walks of life?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: To ensure my music speaks to all, I blend relatable stories with universal themes. Love, heartbreak, and that inexplicable craving for waffles – something for everyone!

  1. Your passion for education shines through. How has your experience as an educator influenced your music and your perspective on the world?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: As an educator, I’ve learned that every student loves listening to my guitar more than my lectures so maybe I should play music more. My experience in education has given me a broader perspective and fan base, and I aim to share that wisdom through my music to the world.

  1. As someone deeply involved in both music and police reform, how do you find a balance between these two seemingly distinct realms, and how do they mutually reinforce your overarching goals?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: Finding the balance between music and police reform is like walking a tightrope while juggling flaming torches. But it’s all about driving change and making the world a better place. Music changes people. I hope the right song can encourage the right person not to throw their life away because of a bad moment. We all have bad moments. Everyone deserves a little grace because we are not perfect as humans. We make mistakes. I just want people to find some fun when they turn the radio on.

  1. How do you aim to use your music to address the pressing issues of social justice and equality?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: Music is my megaphone for social justice and equality. My song Boom Blop takes on Karens in society. A Karen is a white girl who has lost her mind and always tries to get people of color arrested over nothing. Boom Blop is for anyone who has ever been bothered by a Karen, even other white people get annoyed by Karen’s because Karen’s are monsters and honestly they make white people look stupid as Fudge!!!.

  1. With your extensive background in sales and marketing, how do you incorporate your strategic brilliance into the management of your music career?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: My strategic brilliance in sales and marketing keeps my music career on track. I’m like a musical Sherlock Holmes, solving the mystery of selling tunes. It comes in handy for helping the police solve crimes and manage their budget as well.

  1. Collaborations often add a unique flavor to an artist’s repertoire. Are there any acclaimed artists or producers who you would like to work with in the future?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: Collaborations are my jam. I’ve got my eye on a few artists and producers I’d love to cook up some tunes with. Let’s just say, it’s a secret recipe.

  1. In what ways do you believe music can serve as a powerful catalyst for societal change and inspire a more just and equitable society?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: Music has this incredible power to unite people. It’s like a musical protest, raising its voice for change. It’s a call to arms, and we’re the orchestra. My song Peaceful Warrior is about protesting with integrity and not hostility. Living in the ghetto is hard. People steal from you and try to kill you over dumb stuff, so you really need a high vibe to thrive there because everyone is trying to drag you down. Peaceful Warrior is a song that tries to remind you that bad choices could get you arrested, but if you choose peace, you might get peace.

  1. Can you share any specific initiatives or projects you’ve completed, or are currently involved in, to drive meaningful change?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: I’m always up to something. I’ve got initiatives and projects that would put even the busiest bee to shame. Just stay tuned for the next Lyon Brave surprise because saving the street orphans is definitely on my to-do-list!

  1. In your pursuit of a just and harmonious world, how do you hope your music and activism will leave a lasting impact and legacy?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: My music and activism are my legacy in the making. When people hear my songs, I want them to say, “That Lyon Brave, she can do the moonwalk just a little bit better than Michael Jackson, which is a dope lyric from my song Funky Monkey, check it out!

  1. What specific themes or emotions do you find yourself revisiting frequently in your music, and how do they contribute to the overarching narrative you aim to construct through your songs?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: My music often revisits themes of empowerment, resilience, and, of course, late night dancing. These themes build a lyrical narrative that leads people directly to the dance floor where they shake it like a super power, which is a dope lyric from my song Boogie Down Bronx.

  1. Looking ahead, what are your aspirations for your music career in the coming years? Are there any particular milestones you’re aiming to achieve?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: The future holds endless possibilities. I’m pretty sure Beyonce is going to be obsessed with me. Taylor Swift is already obsessed with me almost as much as her cats. I’m aiming for world domination, one chart-topping hit at a time. Who knows what Lyon Brave will cook up next?

  1. What strengths do you believe you bring to the table as an artist that allow you to effectively convey your message and connect with your audience on a deeper level?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: Well, it’s actually Lyon Brave, but I’ll take the compliment! The strength I bring is authenticity. I don’t hold back, and I’m not afraid to tackle the tough topics.

  1. What techniques do you employ to ensure that your music continues to evolve and remain relevant, while staying true to your core values and beliefs about advocating for positive societal change?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: My music evolves like a chameleon changing colors. Staying true to my values is like a compass guiding me through uncharted musical territory, but sometimes I experiment and just like in life it’s either a hot mess or a masterpiece.

  1. Do you have a favorite motto, phrase or piece of advice, you try to live or inspire yourself by?

Lyon Amor Brave aka LAB: My motto? “Be fierce, be fearless, and never forget to dance to your own tune. Life’s a party, and I’m bringing the DJ” For 10,000 USD I will be a party lion at your event! Don’t forget to subscribe to me on YouTube!
