A Walk With Alice delivers a raw, savage, angry and positive display of power!

Alternative Hardcore band, A Walk With Alice delivers a raw, savage, angry and positive display of power with their track “Bringaparka”. The song feels like full effort was exerted in creating it; like every member of the band poured everything they could into it – from Jake Carlini (Vocalist, Drummer), Sebastien Brown (Vocalist), and Dennis Lindsey (Bassist) to Ben Carlini (Guitarist). It feels like the band is completely in full form and the vocals sound amazing – from the growling to the full-on singing.

Every once in a while an album in metal music comes along that completely destroys your perception of heaviness, or brutality, and truly pushes the limits and recreates the rules. Albums like “Master of Puppets” from Metallica, Korn’s first record, Slipknot’s debut, Pantera’s “Vulger Display of Power”, Meshuggah’s “Chaosphere”, Deftones’ “Around the Fur”, System of a Down’s debut, Slayer’s “Reign in Blood”, or just about anything from Opeth.

Though still a young new band, A Walk With Alice deliver much of the same in terms of potential as they knock it out of the with tracks like “West Went South”, “23-19” and “Robbin Banks”. They even have a slight flavor of Linkin Park thrown in among their wares.

This music completely reinvigorated my love for real metal again. In a world saturated with nu metal clones, a band comes out of nowhere and just totally crushes everyone. This album probably has the best combination of truly brutal music and incredibly melodic vocals that I have heard from newcomers, possibly over the last few years.

Sebastien belts out screams and death growls like the best death metal bands, and drummer Jake sings the melodic parts so perfectly catchy rock fans almost would dig it – and that doesn’t mean it’s cheesy. Not even close. You will be blown away by his vocal range.
You’re gonna get semi-blast beats, a metric ton of double-bass, and cutting, crushing riffs that will stick in your head for days.

All you need to get hooked on their music is to listen to “Bringaparka”– and listen to it very loud. This is one of those bands that even other metal artists envy. This is one of those bands that after one release, people are already talking about how hugely influential these guys could become.

If you dig metal, metalcore or hardcore and If you’ve never heard of A Walk With Alice before now, I would encourage you to pick  up anything by these guys as fast as possible, because you are really missing out on some truly amazing music.

This band stands out with some ferocious, driving metalcore riffage giving way to transcendently beautiful choruses, with great screaming, great singing and great melody thrown into the package. They have a total all-encompassing template like few others!
