Aaron Spiro: “By the Waterside” – profound with insight, metaphor and thoughtful imagery!

Aaron Spiro is a musician based in Seattle, WA.  A year ago he started on a mission to record his album. After laying down the guitar and lead vocal tracks, he went online and found artists from all over the world who could in some way help him complete his mission. One by one, he reached out; Drums, Bass, Piano, Harmonies, Cello, Trumpet, etc. Being a college student, Aaron didn’t have a large budget for the album, so he couldn’t pay the musicians nearly what a session musician would have made, but he says he found something amazing. “Not only were the musicians willing to be on the album for a reduced fee, but they went above and beyond,” says Aaron. “These amazing musicians helped me make this album come to life, from LA to Amsterdam, and all in-between.”

Aaron Spiro is a radiant song writer, story teller, artist, vocalist and musician. It is just so refreshing to listen to an artist who lives the experience he shares through his art and gifts. He is raw, honest, transparent and willing to make his personal evolution, discussing the ups and downs and lessons we all go through in life – a labyrinth of personal expression that ultimately benefits many.

The 12-track, “By the Waterside” album, affirms not only a willingness to embrace life with an open heart, but this it celebrates everything we will come to love and appreciate about this artist in future, I think.

“By the Waterside” is both upbeat and happy for the most part, yet it is really profound with insight, metaphor and thoughtful imagery that invite the listener into a deeper reflection of existence – all the while communicating joy and love. You may find examples of this on “Chasing Dreams”, “Side by Side” ft. Emma Kurman-Faber, “Little Things”, “Summer” and “Heal The World”.

However, if you’re looking for slower, more introspective expressions, search no farther than the middle of the album, where you will find back to back, melancholic slow burners, such as, “Time”, “Fall Nights” and “Rain”.

All throughout the album, Aaron Spiro never fails to lift the mind and spirit with the perfect match of lyric to music, and the collaborations helps pull it off to perfection. He has a way with words and knows how to get to an emotion without hesitating.  Aaron has these easy-listening and inspirational acoustic-driven tunes ready for you when you have one of those days that require some pick-me-up music.

The magical melodies and sincere song lyrics get your feet off the ground and running into opportunities otherwise thought impossible to accomplish. Especially when you consider how this album was successfully completed.
