Richard Ward is a Singer/Songwriter, musician and producer based in Leicester, UK. Having grown up playing contemporary music in church bands in his hometown of Darlington, Richard’s passions took him to university in Leicester where he studied Music Technology and really developed a deep-rooted passion for the art of production.
Over the last few years he has had struggles with mental health, mainly anxiety and depression. At this point he turned to songwriting as a way of trying to help himself understand what was going on in his head, and bring challenging emotions to the surface. Richard didn’t stop there! He is now on a mission to help other people do the same thing, hoping that they will hear some of themselves in Richard’s words, and find relief through the power and beauty of music.’
