Musician and Author, Jennifer Juan Returns with Debut EP “Wildflowers”

Jennifer Juan is a musician and author, from the UK, returning with her long awaited debut EP, Wildflowers. Taking her talent for poetry, and combining it with her passion for sound and ambience, Juan has created an enchanting and mesmeric world of sound on her debut EP, Wildflowers.

“I wanted to try new things and play with different sounds and styles, so I had a lot of fun working on this,” Juan said, discussing her debut EP “Wildflowers” and its influences. “I wanted to write about different kinds of love, with different perspectives of what love is, how it works and what it does to a person, all being looked at and explored through not just lyrics, but the way the voice sounds when different emotions come into play, as well as different instrumental sounds and moods that reflect different feelings.”

“Wildflowers,” a three track Alternative/Dreampop EP follows Juan’s February 2018 single “2AM,” which has amassed over 16,000 streams on Spotify alone since release. “Wildflowers” is an exploration of immersive sound, toying with Glo-Fi beats, experimental textures, hypnotic, soft vocals and Juan’s signature poetic, lyrical style.

The project is accompanied by the music video for ethereal and atmospheric track “I Never Want It To End,” filmed over one night in Blackpool, England and filled with surreal and hazy night time imagery, which has been released through Juan’s official website JenniferJuan.Com and her official YouTube channel.

As she moves into the second half of 2018, Juan has continued to grow and develop as an artist. Riding high on the success of her recent and critically acclaimed poetry collection “Kissing Boys, Just For The Thrill,” Juan continues her journey as an artist in 2018, with the upcoming EP “Wildflowers.”
