DJ Supe: “Bonnie & Clyde” ft. TanJanae – a modern day urban symphony!

Originally from Sacramento California, DJ Supe works out of his own studio, The Safe Room Studios, producing for many artists. “The studio is my home away from home. I can manufacture my own original ideas that are untainted by pop culture expectations…and I don’t care if you don’t like!” he says.

An active performer on many stages, his experience as a radio personality, music producer, and concert DJ are vantage points. “I love weird sounds…but I also love harmony,” says DJ Supe.

DJ Supe’s new single “Bonnie & Clyde” features up-and-coming singer-songwriter TanJanae. This track is her first single under the CKeen Moore Management. “Every time someone heard the preliminary mix at my studio, they wanted it for themselves,” says DJ Supe, adding, “I had to wait for the right match, TanJanae was it!”

Producer of a vast array of sumptuously diverse melodies, scattershot drum hits, and punctuating basslines — we’re once again treated to a track that showcases the latest trends from the iconic DJ Supe.

The producer’s exhilarating new saga in his musical odyssey gets off to a thrilling start with a growling bassline and sensuous vocal by TanJanae that suggests the track could be a seminal, influential culmination of everything he’s worked toward his entire career.

The track’s middle section shares an affinity with big-voiced R&B female singers, slick hooks, and mile-wide, slow-burning, dance-floor-friendly grooves. In between DJ Supe captures a lick of the West Coast hip-hop flavor, pinning down the quicksilver sound of today before it becomes yesterday’s style.

DJ Supe deserves credit for pushing boundaries and working outside his comfort zone, with audacity and perfect execution. He has figured out how to convert disparate sounds into memorable songs. The slinky and smart lyrics is all about getting ears to the radio and asses on the floor, not imparting too much timeless wisdom.

“Bonnie & Clyde” is so irrevocably rooted in today, with a taste of yesterday and a nod to tomorrow, that it pretty much flings itself into a time capsule. Thanks to the fact that DJ Supe is intent on challenging himself and his fans with varying sounds and rhythms.

The level of talent on display here is stimulating to say the least, as DJ Supe’s bass-driven production melds and wraps itself around TanJanae’s tantalizing vocal elicitations which seem to naturally fit into Supe’s elaborate urban symphony.
