Kalamazoo, MI – Cleveland-born hip-hop artist Slym Beno, founder of P One Entertainment, is releasing his newest project, “The Big P EP,” accompanied by a Benefit Concert at The Kalamazoo Loft. The event will highlight the city’s growing underground music scene while supporting the Loaves & Fishes Food Drive, providing meals for local families in need.
Now based in Kalamazoo, Slym Beno’s music blends sharp lyricism with heartfelt reflection. The Big P EP explores his personal struggles with staying consistent in his purpose amid life’s challenges. “This project represents my journey through inconsistency, pain, and growth,” says Beno. “It’s dedicated to my late sister and cousin, who never got to fulfill their purpose—and to anyone who lost a loved one before they could complete theirs.”
The EP’s release marks more than just another musical milestone—it signals a movement. Through this event, Beno hopes to bring artists and audiences together to celebrate resilience, faith, and purpose. Alongside his own performance, the concert will feature local talent, giving other independent artists a platform to share their work and passion.
The Big P EP will be available exclusively on EVEN, a platform that empowers artists to share music directly with fans.
