- What inspired you to create “Greatest Festival Hits”? Was there a particular experience or moment that sparked the idea for this album?
Beati Sounds: “Greatest Festival Hits” was inspired by the electrifying energy and unity I experience as an attendee at festivals. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to witness firsthand how certain tracks can bring a crowd together and create unforgettable moments. I wanted to capture that spirit in an album that would resonate with festival-goers, even when they’re not on the festival grounds. The idea came to me after attending several festivals and realizing that these tracks had a powerful, unifying effect on the crowd.
- How did you decide on the tracklist for “Greatest Festival Hits”? Were there any tracks that almost made it but didn’t?
Beati Sounds: The tracklist was carefully curated based on the energy, impact, and connection each song has with the festival atmosphere. I wanted to ensure a seamless flow that keeps the excitement high throughout. There were definitely a few tracks that I considered, but ultimately, I chose the ones that have consistently resonated with me and others during festival experiences. Each track on this album holds a special place in my memories of those events.
- Can you walk us through your songwriting process for the album? How do you typically start a track, and how do you know when it’s finished?
Beati Sounds: My songwriting process usually starts with a central theme or emotion I want to convey—often inspired by the feelings I get when I’m at a festival. Once I have that, I begin building the melody or bassline, which becomes the foundation of the track. For this album, I focused on creating explosive drops and infectious rhythms that could replicate the energy of a live festival. A track is finished when it not only sounds technically right but also evokes the emotion and energy I’m aiming for—something that could transport listeners back to those festival moments.
- Can you share some details about the equipment and software you used to produce this album? Are there any specific tools that were essential to achieving the sounds you wanted?
Beati Sounds: I used a combination of Ableton Live and FL Studio to produce this album. My go-to synths include Serum and Massive, which allowed me to craft those powerful basslines and soaring leads. I also used analog gear like the Roland TR-808 and Moog Sub 37 to add depth and warmth to the tracks. Balancing digital precision with analog richness was key to achieving the festival-ready sound I envisioned.
- Festival anthems are known for their high energy. How do you ensure that each track recorded in the studio maintains that festival-ready intensity?
Beati Sounds: To maintain that festival-ready intensity, I focus on crafting tight, punchy rhythms and powerful drops that can cut through massive sound systems. I imagine how the track would feel in a live setting and often test it with high-volume playback during the production process. The goal is to create tracks that can replicate the adrenaline rush and communal energy I feel when I’m part of the crowd at a festival.
- Which track on “Greatest Festival Hits” was the most challenging to produce, and how did you overcome those challenges?
Beati Sounds: “Boom Voyage” was the most challenging track to produce. Balancing the classical violins with the intense EDM drops required a lot of experimentation and fine-tuning. I had to ensure that neither element overpowered the other, but instead, they complemented each other to create something truly unique. Patience and a lot of late-night sessions were key to overcoming these challenges.
- Can you share some of the production techniques you used to create the explosive rhythm on the track “Neon Pulses”?
Beati Sounds: For “Neon Pulses,” I used sidechain compression to make the kicks and bass hit harder and create that pulsing effect that drives the track. I also layered multiple synths to build a thick, vibrant sound that feels almost tangible. High-pass filtering on the build-ups helped create tension before each drop, making the rhythm feel even more explosive when it finally hits.
- How do you choose your collaborators, and what do you look for in a vocal artist when working on any project like this?
Beati Sounds: I choose collaborators who bring something unique to the table—whether it’s a distinct vocal style, fresh production techniques, or a creative approach to songwriting. For vocal artists, I look for those who can convey strong emotion and connect with listeners. It’s important that their voice not only complements the music but also elevates it, making the track memorable.
- Can you talk about any unexpected or surprising collaborations that occurred during the making of this album?
Beati Sounds: One of the most surprising collaborations was with a classical violinist for “Boom Voyage.” Initially, I hadn’t planned to include live instruments, but after experimenting with some violin samples, I realized that live recordings would add a depth and authenticity to the track that couldn’t be replicated. The collaboration was spontaneous, but it brought an unexpected richness to the album.
- Out of all the tracks on “Greatest Festival Hits,” which one is your personal favorite and why?
Beati Sounds: My personal favorite is “Sunrise Festival.” There’s something magical about the way it captures the euphoria of a festival as the sun comes up. The track has a perfect balance of energy and melody, and it never fails to lift my spirits, whether I’m experiencing it at a festival or just listening to it in my own space.
- Is there a particular track that you think will resonate the most with your fans at clubs or festivals? Why?
Beati Sounds: I think “Power for Everyone” will resonate the most with fans. Its massive drops and universal message of empowerment make it a track that not only energizes the crowd but also connects with them on a deeper level. It’s designed to be an anthem that unites everyone on the dancefloor.
- How do you decide the order of the tracks on the album? What was your thought process behind the tracklist for “Greatest Festival Hits”?
Beati Sounds: The track order was carefully chosen to create a journey for the listener. I wanted to start with high-energy tracks like “Boots On The Ground” to grab attention right away, then take the listener through different moods and intensities, ending with tracks that are more reflective and emotional. The goal was to keep the energy flowing while also offering some variety to keep things interesting.
- “Boots On The Ground” kicks off the album. What was the inspiration behind this track, and why did you choose it as the opening song?
Beati Sounds:”Boots On The Ground” was inspired by the intensity and precision of a military march, but with a festival twist. It’s powerful and commanding, making it the perfect opener to set the tone for the rest of the album. I wanted to start with a bang, and this track does just that, immediately pulling the listener into the festival experience.
- Looking back at the creation of this album, is there anything you would have done differently, or are you completely satisfied with the final product?
Beati Sounds: I’m incredibly satisfied with how “Greatest Festival Hits” turned out. Each track represents a moment or feeling that I wanted to capture and share with my audience. Of course, as an artist, you always find little things you might want to tweak, but overall, I feel this album is a true reflection of my journey and growth as a producer.
- How do you see “Greatest Festival Hits” fitting into your overall discography? Do you view it as a culmination of your work so far, or a new direction for your future projects?
Beati Sounds: “Greatest Festival Hits” is both a culmination of my work so far and a launching pad for the future. It showcases the evolution of my sound and my ability to create tracks that resonate with festival audiences. While it celebrates my past, it also opens doors to new creative possibilities, and I’m excited to see where my music will go next.
- How do you balance staying true to your sound with experimenting and evolving as an artist? Were there any tracks on this album where you felt you pushed your boundaries?
Beati Sounds: Balancing consistency with experimentation is key to staying relevant while keeping your artistic identity intact. On this album, “Boom Voyage” and “Western Saloon” were tracks where I pushed my boundaries by blending unexpected genres and incorporating live instruments. These experiments allowed me to explore new sonic territories while staying true to the energy and vibe that my fans expect.
17. What do you hope listeners feel or experience when they listen to “Greatest Festival Hits” from start to finish?
Beati Sounds I hope listeners feel a sense of excitement, freedom, and unity as they journey through the album. Festivals are about coming together, celebrating life, and feeling the music deeply, and I want this album to encapsulate those emotions. Whether they’re at a festival, in their car, or at home, I want listeners to feel like they’re part of something bigger.
- Looking back on the entire project, what moment or aspect of creating “Greatest Festival Hits” are you most proud of?
Beati Sounds: The fact that I was able to blend different styles and influences into a unified album that still resonates with the festival experience is something I’m very proud of. Creating a journey that listeners can feel from start to finish, and knowing that these tracks will be part of their festival memories, is incredibly rewarding.
- Your career has been characterized by versatility and dedication. What are the key values or principles that guide you in your pursuit of excellence in your musical endeavors?
Beati Sounds: The key values that guide me are authenticity, creativity, and connection. I believe in staying true to myself and my sound while always striving to push the boundaries of what I can create. Creativity is at the core of everything I do, and I’m always exploring new ways to express myself and connect with listeners. Connection is also vital—whether it’s through a melody, a rhythm, or a feeling, I aim to create music that resonates deeply with people and brings them together.
- Looking ahead, what are your aspirations for your music career in the coming years? Are there any particular milestones you’re aiming to achieve?
Beati Sounds: Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue evolving as an artist and exploring new genres and sounds. One of my aspirations is to collaborate with artists from different musical backgrounds, blending our styles to create something unique and impactful. I’m also eager to reach more people globally, sharing my music with a broader audience. A long-term goal is to produce a concept album that tells a story from start to finish, combining music and visuals into an immersive experience that goes beyond traditional album formats.
