Indie Hip-hop/RnB Rock artist Jimmy Two Shoes (J2S), is excited to announce his forthcoming single, “Real You” in a satirical music video he directed and produced himself. Hailing from San Diego, CA, J2S’s new single can be described as a unique rap/alt rock sensation of good energy and lyrical depth. The song details his universal struggle with love, and he articulates his past emotional experiences and traumas.
J2S envelopes his new single with conflicts from ex-lovers, immoral decisions, and broken friendships. Coming across vulnerable Jimmy Two Shoes creates music for “outsiders like him.” ‘Real You’ was produced with Quentin Royce, a producer out of Panama City, FL and fully written by Jimmy Two Shoes in one night he says.
Currently, J2S is studying cinematography, and communications online at San Francisco State University. J2S also designs his own fashion, and releases his first ever limited time designer shoes made in Italy now for pre-order.
He hopes to eventually tour the world, and do “The 90 Day World Tour” where he plans to spread a positive message of perseverance, self-love and determination across the globe through his music. He plans to do this after Covid restrictions are lifted.
Born in Lancaster, California and raised in Warner Robins, GA, J2S (born Caelan Hakim Crockett) names Childish Gambino, Playboi Carti, Kid Cudi, Drake and Joey Bada$$ among his many influences.
