TJWay & Simms Publishing Presents “TOMORROW” ft. Shelly Rann – a heart-tugging and emotional sound!

That the advent of internet technology has completely changed the face of the music industry is becoming more evident every day. What is possible today was once almost a total taboo. Producers that needed musicians, musicians that needed singers, singers that need songs – all were forced to hike around the country, knocking on hundreds of doors, often having those doors slammed closed. Today everybody is able to connect with anybody at all levels. Reaching out to creative songwriting professionals like TJWay and Erin Gannon Simms, is just one click away!

Among the TJWay and partners growing catalog of songs, the track, ‘Tomorrow’ a.k.a ‘Tomorrow Doesn’t Wait’, has recently been shooting up the Country charts, reaching the number one spot. ‘Tomorrow’ is sung by talented Nashville-based artist, Shelly Rann. Shelly has had her songs featured on the NBC network award-winning prime time shows ‘The West Wing’ and ‘Third Watch’. In addition, she has shared the stage with Vince Gill, Trace Adkins, and Alabama, and has performed on the Capitol Lawn for former President Bush and thousands of others.

‘Tomorrow’ was originally recorded as an acoustic version with a guitar backing, at the studio: http://www.thegatorhole.com/ by musician and producer Galen Breen, and later re-produced-by musician and producer Justin Morgan, who added further instrumentation to the arrangement, at his studio at: www.pearlsnapstudios.com.

The true mark of an extraordinary song is that when the listener experiences it from start to finish, he or she is taken on a journey through a story and can feel the emotional connection behind each and every word sung. This is what Shelly Rann accomplishes on ‘Tomorrow’ – an effort made possible by the songwriting talents of TJWAY and Lloyd A. Kyrk, published by Tjway & Simms Publishing. While Shelly’s previous works are all excellent, ‘Tomorrow’ fully encompasses what she is capable of delivering, vocally.

The ballad draws the analogy between a regular relationship and the kind of passion between lovers, lived to its fullest in a limited time, which is so strong that anything else seems watered down – “If tomorrow would wait / We could live, and love forever / Without the thought of counting time”. Shelly Rann gives a beautifully nuanced and controlled performance as the song slowly builds towards its crescendo, ably assisted by the heart-tugging and emotional sound of the strings, backed by warmly organic instrumentation.

‘Tomorrow’ is a superb bittersweet love song, with deep meaning and thought-provoking lyrics. I think a lot of women can relate to the message of this song. And it comes as no surprise that this Shelly Rann and Tjway & Simms Publishing package has climbed the Country charts!
