Horizon Beats returns for one final musical statement with “Farewell,” a high-energy progressive house instrumental that celebrates creative freedom, musical evolution, and the conclusion of an era.

Following the project’s retirement in October 2026, producer Steven Sinanan delivers an unexpected final release that steps away from the emotional vocals and cinematic storytelling that defined Horizon Beats’ later catalogue. Instead, “Farewell” places the production itself at the forefront, embracing explosive melodies, powerful festival-style drops, uplifting piano arrangements, and an energetic electronic sound.

Running approximately two minutes and fifty seconds, “Farewell” represents Sinanan’s decision to let go of the creative limitations he had gradually placed on his music. Throughout Horizon Beats’ evolution, particularly during its transition into melodic and cinematic progressive house in 2025, his productions increasingly focused on balancing emotional songwriting, vocal performances, and carefully structured arrangements.

With “Farewell,” those expectations are deliberately set aside.

The instrumental draws inspiration from the euphoric energy of festival progressive house, combining melodic passages with intense buildups and powerful drops. Rather than telling a story through lyrics, the recording communicates through its melodies, dynamics, and sheer intensity.

The release also marks a symbolic return to Horizon Beats’ origins. Founded in June 2020, the project began with instrumental production before developing into a vocal-driven electronic music act. “Farewell” brings that journey full circle, revisiting its earliest creative foundations through the experience and production techniques developed over the following six years.

Unlike the emotional conclusion presented in “Come Find Me Again,” “Farewell” approaches goodbye as a celebration rather than a moment of sadness. It is an opportunity for Sinanan to embrace the unrestricted energy of electronic music and deliver one final expression of his identity as a producer.

Released without a traditional promotional campaign, “Farewell” is not intended to signal a comeback or the beginning of another chapter. Instead, it stands as a surprise epilogue to the Horizon Beats catalogue.
