His production credits include Good Principle, Don Tippa, Madi Simmons, Radical Artical, King Schasha, Kei Dubb and many more.

We had a chance to talk with Terry and ask him a few questions about his work as a reggae music producer. You can read the interview below.

First off, where are you based?

I’m currently based in Athens, Greece.

How long have you been making reggae beats?

I’ve been producing reggae beats and instrumentals for music artists for over 10 years now.

Do you produce any other types of beats besides reggae?

I mainly produce reggae, but I also make some hip hop beats and rap instrumentals as well.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music production?

I enjoyed playing musical instruments and composing music from a young age, so as time went by, I realized that this might be something I want to do professionally. After lots of research, I eventually built my own music production website where I release my reggae beats for sale online at TerryVibes.com so music artists from all around the world can license my reggae instrumentals and use them for their songs and albums.

What are some of your biggest musical influences?

I mostly like roots reggae artists from the early era of reggae, such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Burning Spear, but I also enjoy listening to current reggae artists such as Protoje, Chronixx, Tarrus Riley and so on.

What have been some of the biggest challenges in your music production career?

It was quite difficult to make high-quality reggae instrumentals that I was satisfied with at first. It took a lot of time and effort until I started feeling more confident in my production skills and I was eventually able to make connections with artists who were interested in working with me and voicing my reggae riddims.

How many reggae beats have you produced to date?

I have produced over 30 reggae riddims until now and more are planned to be released soon.

Can you tell us some things about your latest production?

My latest reggae riddim is titled “Sunny Day” and it was released a couple of months ago. The reception has been great so far and several Reggae artists have shown interest in voicing it already, so expect many great songs to come out with that riddim soon.

Any plans for new reggae instrumentals or other projects we should know about?

Yes, I’ve almost finished 2 more reggae riddims which will be released soon, so stay tuned.

Where can music artists listen and license your reggae beats?

You can listen and download my reggae beats on my website TerryVibes.com
