International, South African born singer-songwriter and influencer Ranwin Le-Roy (24) released his debut single Painting the Canvas March 15th 2018 and is exactly where he wants to do be for now. This Pop/Rnb singer has risen onto the French Charts according to PureBreak charts and has been in studio working alongside Advent on his debut album. Were excited to hear what he will do next since Painting the Canvas was such an interesting turn; heart-breaking yet hard hitting with a Pop/Hip-Hop twist. He wrote exceptional lyrics to this song based on his breakup which according to him was not pretty at all.
Now, those who know Ranwin Le-Roy he has quite a strong personality and this can also be seen on his social media. This has caught the attention of many influencers, fans or as he says,*friends. We asked Ranwin how he copes with having had to do shows, recording and having to have gone to university over the years and his reply was, It was extremely difficult but I knew what I wanted and I wasn’t going to stop until I had my degree in Psychology and Sociology and continued my passion; which is music. I wanted to prove to the world that education is just as important as your dreams and it is our job to inspire every generation that is to come.
Painting the Canvas was Ranwin Le-Roys way of showing his vulnerability to the world and that he is in tune with his emotions. He later said, People will be shocked by how controversial my album will be, because I speak about body positivity, shady friends and family in our lives, more heartbreak and being a boss lady/gentleman which everyone can relate to. My music isn’t only for me, it’s for every kind of heart I know.
Ranwin Le-Roy continues to explain, I experienced such an intense heartbreak and this was because I was in love and got to experience an indescribable kind of love which left me scarred. I met Author, Adam Rabinowitz on a flight to Dubai. I told him and his amazing wife about my breakup and he ended up writing one of the songs that will be on my album. This is the only song not written by me; I mean I edited and added here and there but it’s basically written in the exact words of how I felt and it broke my heart all over again reading it.
We’ve done some digging and noticed that Ranwin Le-Roy is being followed by quite an extensive celebrity list of friends and acquaintances; television personality, businesswoman, socialite, model and singer Paris Hilton who we all know is one of his biggest role models, the Awkward MTV television star Monty Geer, TV Host Darren Kennedy, Artist and Podcast host Jody Steel who seems to be a really great friend of his, Lifestyle coach Dani Stevens, Singer-Songwriter Cooper Phillips, Singer TJ Hickey, the pranksters eighty83three Belle and Jadeey, influencer Janette Ewen and many more.
We tried fishing for features on his upcoming album and we know Jody Steel will contribute in some way to his debut album but doesn’t have anything to do with what she regularly does. This is interesting because Steel is not a singer or is she? Cooper Phillips and Ranwin Le-Roy communicates quite often and she is most likely to be featured on his album. This will be absolutely amazing because Ranwin Le-Roy is a powerhouse and so is Cooper Phillips; trust me on this, you will want to hear this.
Ranwin mentioned that there will be a feature that he cannot mention at this time but it’ll leave everyone shocked. I know it leaves a lot of room for speculation. Now, although Nicki Minaj does not follow Ranwin Le-Roy on Instagram we’ve seen them interact with one another many times before as Ranwin Le-Roy said, I stan Nicki Minaj, Queen is such a revelation and it’s a goal of mine to work with her. I won’t use the word dream because I’m working hard towards that. We know Paris Hilton follows him on Instagram, so it could definitely be her. Who knows, we’ll have to wait.
The debut album has no specific date yet but we know it’s going to be good and we know it’s coming soon. If you haven’t heard Ranwin Le-Roys debut Single Painting the Canvas, listen now!
