HarukiD’s brand of synth pop is addictive in all the right ways!

Blending elements of hip-hop, electronic, pop and R&B, the Tokyo-based musician, HarukiD (pronounced as Haru-ki-dee), has been turning heads across Japan and abroad with her East meets West sound. HarukiD has a fresh take on the synth pop sound.

The core of her instrumentation – spurning melancholic, dreamy synthesized soundscapes – sit atop a foundation of heavy, club-thumping grooves. HarukiD’s 80-20 split of English-Japanese vocals are characteristic of her cross-cultural heritage, and sonically they are as dynamic as they are uplifting.

“Lift” is HarukiD’s first EP, which was released May 1. Follow and find out more about HarukiD on TWITTER and INSTAGRAM
