[fbshare type=”button”] [twitter style=”vertical” float=”left”] [google_plusone size=”standard” annotation=”none” language=”English (UK)”] JamSphere’s choice VIDEO OF THE WEEK for the week of 02 – 08 January 2012 is: ROBBIE TEE – HOUSE ON FIRE. As occurred in our choice Song Of The Week, we have chosen to open 2012 with an artist, friend and sometimes collaborator, who appeared in our debut issue. Robbie Tee is an artist dear to us in that he epitomizes the “indie artist” our magazine is striving to promote. As is the case with blues guitar veteran, Randy Anderson our choice Song Of The Week winner, Robbie Tee is an artist with an over 25 year plus history.
Only recently has he been reaping some well deserved benefits from his artistic prowess. Robbie curates his creative juices at all levels with manic attention. Music creation and production as well as marketing and sales are all activated and controlled personally.
Just recently Robbie Tee launched his new official website where fans can interact with him and purchase works directly at hugely discounted rates, cutting out all third party costs.
If you consider that Robbie Tee has sold over 50,000 copies of his 2011 release – “Brave,New and Absurd” – a work entirely created and promoted by Robbie on his co-owned Indy Alley Records label, you only get to understand the tip of the iceberg of this immensely talented artist who truly understands what being independent means.
Robbie is currently working on his third solo album, which is being recorded and mixed between Sweden, Switzerland and Italy. “House On Fire” is a track from the upcoming new album, which promises to rock a whole lot harder than his previous works.
Die-hard fans of the screaming Robbie Tee guitar solos are going to love this album…we’re already laying bets on the sales figures!
At the end of December 2012 our staff will choose the JAMSPHERE “VIDEO OF THE YEAR” from the 3 videos with the highest number of “Thumbs Up” voting from our readers.
If you like this video give it the “Thumbs Up” now! Share it on Twitter and Facebook too.
