The Legend of XERO is a traveling, evangelistic, music ministry that employs stories, music, and costume to deliver the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a creative, intelligent, and challenging way. TLoX combines the mantle of a stage performer, a rapper, and a super hero to create a unique “Worship Warrior” personality, that’s both memorable and inspirational. His music is geared toward teens and young adults who are either Christians, or people who are trying to find their spiritual identity.
“Heaven’s Hype: Xero Mix-Up” is an incredible melding of modern R&B, electro dance and hiphop styles that is hard to explain. The beats are bangin’ and the hooks are off the chain with some great use of vocal effects typically found in R&B.
The other thing that is so incredible is the depth of the lyrics, which is scripture based, without being like Sunday sermon. Incorporated into this hip sound, the words and messages of God and salvation are so much more powerful for it. Every song seems to ring true and is applicable to real life.

The music sounds like something you would hear on mainstream radio or at your local club on a Saturday night. The only difference is that The Legend Of ZERO brings the message and power of the Gospel alive.
If you’ve always hated secular rap or dance because it’s lyrics is almost always associated with thugs, guns, gangs, sex, drugs or promoting negative things. This album will change your mind. The Legend Of ZERO doesn’t just rap or sing about morally living right, you actually get the feeling while listening to this album, that he is one who can definitely reach out to the younger generation, offering a totally new and positive musical experience.
The production is tight, the creativity is there, the lyrics are there, the beats and hooks are on fire and for once…the theme from start to finish is the world’s need for redemption. A far cry, lyrically, from the daily fodder this genre usually dishes up.
On this album, TLoX whose musical sound genius sits somewhere between Paul Van Dyk’s dance anthems, Eminem’s lyrical rhyming and Usher’s oh-so cool vocals, delivers standout dance scorchers like “Superhero,” “Crazy Praises” and “Let The Music Play.”
I highly recommend this album to any rap and dance music fan, but especially to those who are interested in finding modern sounding Christian music. “Heaven’s Hype: Xero Mix-Up,” delivers a message that is clear and inspired. It attacks real issues in our world, from a Christian perspective…and straight from the dancefloor!
