Twenty-three year old RawDeal TheDapa AKA Clevon A Alexander was born in Grenada West Indies and then migrated to Brooklyn, New York at the age of sixteen. While hustling on the streets of Brooklyn he and his friends formed a music group called BsUnit which turned into DapaMuz!k/LingoGang (DM/LG). Now he is marketing his own brand and producing his own beats while representing his Caribbean background, which has given him the opportunity to grow a bigger fan base. In 2007 he was managed by MMG producer AONE, which gave him an insight of the music industry as well as landing him official features with well-known artists in the game.
RawDeal TheDapa has recently dropped his single “Lingo” and straight off I say that it is definitely his best single thus far. The song is straight fire. He it shows how smart and how much of a hustler RawDeal TheDapa really is. Unlike most artists who boast about being the best but have nothing extraordinary to say, RawDeal TheDapa is the exception.
RawDeal TheDapa is a hot lyricist and has a driven style, with a nice accent that adds color to his music. This dude is a monster, on the microphone. Since his first release RawDeal TheDapa has stayed consistent, and now that his sound on “Lingo” is finally getting mainstream treatment, he manages to stay hood.
From beginning to end on the single, RawDeal TheDapa shines like the star that he is aiming to be. There are a lot of rappers out here hollering that they’re “killing the game” and they straight suck. “Lingo” is a banger and is worth its weight.

When it comes to a challenge RawDeal TheDapa accepts all. He tells fellow Hiphop artists to put up or shut up. Gone are the days of just great beats and catchy hooks alone from this point on, RawDeal TheDapa steps up the lyrics 100 % too! He uses his music to speak to and entertain his audience.
When RawDeal TheDapa raps, his lyrics paints a picture so vivid that it makes you think you were on the streets with him. He’s just a cool laid back artist with a creative flow. On every song he raps, you’ll pull something significant from his lyrics.
On “Lingo” his lyrics will give you motivation, while the beat is banging throughout. You can’t help but notice that RawDeal TheDapa is just getting better and better. The flow and lyrics are on point and the production is at its best…what more do you need?
