At the age of 17, Jamie Beeman has already performed at several music venues and events across Southern California and Washington, including all three of the famous House of Blues: Hollywood, California, and San Diego, California, and Disney Walk Anaheim, California. She has been a regular at the L.A. County Fair and Dodger Stadium and has opened for Sean Kingston in Canada during the Canadian music festival. Jamie’s upbeat personality and charismatic stage presence delights fans while attracting new ones as well.
Jamie’s early years have been guided by the supervision of music publisher Marty Wereski (CEO/Founder, Martune Music) and Grammy Award-winning ™ producer Tommy Marolda, Jamie has co-written numerous songs on her self-titled debut album. The song, “Just Give Me My Life” has also been featured in several films and television.
When she isn’t on stage, Jamie volunteers her time towards community outreach programs and various local charities. Her dedication to helping others hopes to inspire a young generation to be more aware and proactive about making change a reality, and working hard to follow your dreams.
The best thing about Jamie Beeman is that she wears her heart on her sleeve through her music, and her latest single “I’m Not Gonna Cry” is no exception. Even at a young age, she realizes there is strength in vulnerability, and with that knowledge shares her growth as an individual as well as a musician. The pearls of wisdom beyond her years abound in this song, and thanks in large part to producer Tim Feehan, “I’m Not Gonna Cry” has more polish, edge and grit than anything she’s released previously. The song sways, caresses, mesmerizes, and most definitely rocks.

This single far exceeded my expectations from an independent artist. Listen to this in a quiet place to truly get how both her writing, singing and the music bring together this gem in an emotional and beautiful way. Her voice is strong and penetrating, the lyrics smart and deeply touching, the music catchy, which enhances the song more with each listen. Anyone who has ever loved will be touched and enlightened by this song.
In terms of growth, vocals, and overall depth of sound and craft, I think this is one of Jamie Beeman’s best songs ever; which further convinces me that her pairing with Tim Feehan was an inspired one. “I’m Not Gonna Cry” reflects a personal and artistic growth. Jamie seems to have more depth and more understanding of herself, and the music reflects it. The music itself has many more dimensions. Together with her efficient production team, Jamie is able to skillfully mix and highlight sounds that will be pure music to your ears.
“I’m Not Gonna Cry” is musically dynamic, going from full bloom to relatively minimal instrumentation and back again. It’s beautiful and strong. The lyrics are raw and heartfelt. This is just so good. You should really be listening to it or watching the video by now!
