George Aleman’s life-long career in music began at junior high school with his first band ‘Voice 1000’. George progressed through education to gain an Associates Degree in Music at which point he took time out of his musical career to solely care for his 4 year old daughter. “As a single father my daughter was my priority but now she is 17 and I have 100% support from her to continue with my music.”
George Aleman’s voice, raspy, melodic, like hot bourbon poured over honey, comes on like strong medicine. His voice stamps his music like a branding iron stamps leather, marking it with the power and charisma that never fails to impress every time he opens his mouth. The magnetism of this man’s voice is impressive, and is perhaps the greatest draw to the single “Back To You”.
Aleman’s inclination towards guitar driven, straight-ahead rock n’ roll is given full rein here. Guitars are loud, inclined towards power chords and crunchy distortion, and great solos. This is rock music, so you’re here for the emotion, and in that you will in no way be disappointed. Aleman’s heart is on his sleeve and he isn’t ashamed to let you know what is on his mind, and it is actually quite refreshing to find someone who knows that they simply want to rock and have the ability to do it.

“Back To You” is a powerful rock ballad that speaks to us all, and running through Aleman’s catalog, it’s as if he has a song for every human emotion. “The Cure” and “I’m Already Home”, being prime examples.
Anyone who has done their homework knows that George Aleman has been plying his trade and performing for over a lifetime. His songwriting has a level of sophistication, emotional depth, and intelligence that you seldom find in the world of popular music. The tunes vary from the aching to the uplifting; many having a haunting quality and interesting twists.
Aleman sings with his heart and soul, and that gives his music a beautiful spirit which is touching, powerful and full of depth. Upon first look, George Aleman’s songs is like reading out of the modern rock playbook, it has it’s formula down solid, creating a pleasant and radio-friendly atmosphere. Aleman is perfectly suited for the genre, and pulls it off seamlessly.
In fact, I couldn’t really point to a bad song on his catalog. It’s perfect for stuffing your iPod with, and you’ll be pleased with what you hear.
