‘My Persephone’ is a soulful and haunting song about love, loss and seasons of grieving. The song performed and composed by Shannon Robinson, with lyrics by Andrea Koehle Jones, reflect our deep and fragile connection to trees.
A portion of the profits from this song’s sales will be donated to the Love Trees project.
Love Trees manages a global children’s educational tree planting program. They work independently and partner with development organizations to provide trees and environmental education to school children in Africa, North America and Haiti so kids can have a Love Tree of their own to plant.
In developing countries, a Love Tree is truly a “tree of life” as it can alleviate hunger, foster self-sufficiency, provide natural disaster tree relief, combat global warming and improve nearby soil, air and water.
The composers would be interested in having ‘My Persephone’ used in a film or tv show. So anyone interested in contibuting to this project should contact the song owners. The song is also currently on the Jamsphere Rock Radio play-lists.
