Darshan Lodaya is Bluesanova. An electronic music producer, singer and guitarist, his work draws influence from an eclectic range of genres that includes 80’s synthpop, rock, heavy metal, trance, chill, lounge, ambient, trip hop and experimental, along with elements of jazz, classical and traditional Indian modalities.

A native of Mumbai, Bluesanova (Darshan Lodaya), has studied Business Management and worked for large corporations, but it is music that gives him his sense of purpose and drives him forward in life. Bluesanova shows a knack for coming up with just the right combination of melody, beats and ear candy on “Paradise (Original Mix)” . An interesting mix of instrumentals based around piano, synths, sequenced drums and percussion with succinct ambient vocal.

The outcome is music that is transportive, relaxing and original. This is my first connection with Bluesanova and it was an extremely pleasing experience. Bluesanova exists on a different musical plane. His compositions have a signature distinctive quality but are not repetitious. Moreover his music is good for just about any occasion…provided its emotions are tinged with the color blue!
