[fbshare type=”button”] [tweetmeme] Steven Tyler had a small accident at his hotel in Paraguay, forcing Aerosmith to reschedule their Tuesday night concert in Asuncion to Wednesday evening.
Reuters reports Tyler was taken briefly to a hospital in Paraguay’s capital after falling in his hotel bathroom and injuring his face, the country’s largest newspaper ABC said.
The show, set for the Jockey Club Paraguay, in Asuncion, will now happen on Wednesday.
A man who identified himself as Gustavo Perez, a bellboy at the Bourbon hotel near Asuncion, told local radio that Tyler slipped when he was taking a shower and “had a nasty fall.”
Aerosmith kicked off their South American tour Saturday night in Lima, Peru. Reports suggest Tyler struggled with his voice at the show, causing the band to leave some of their biggest hits out of the set, including an extremely rare non-appearance of their all-time classic, “Dream On,” and their smash ballad, “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.”
