SFN RECORDS releases new dance track “Hey Hey” from electronic music trio House of Pryme(Rocco DiVinci, Lord Fisher and St John). “Hey Hey” is an infectious, high-energy dance track from electronic music trio House of Pryme. Set to a pulsating beat and fantastic vocals by newcomer Rosy Donovan, “Hey Hey” , released as a 6-track Ep, is presented with both radio and DJ friendly versions as well as instrumentals. House of Pryme members — aka Rocco DiVinci, Lord Fisher & St John — combine a passion for haute culture and upbeat dance tempos to deliver a good time for everyone.
I first discovered the dynamic trio of Rocco DiVinci, Lord Fisher and St John upon hearing their individual work on “DREAMING – The Remixes EP” . They have this infectious sound and spark to their music. Now as House of Pryme, this is their time to shine as a unit and with the help of vocalist, Rosy Donovan, they trulyshine bright indeed!
This is the ultimate summer anthem of 2014, and hopefully years to come. This is such an awesome feel-good dance song. It’s perfect. The synths, the vocals, the simple uplifting lyrics, and who can forget those infectious horns used sparingly at different points during the song?
The EP is full of awesome dance beats, and I am surprised I am saying this but, awesome synthesized beats. It has a very energetic, upbeat feel. Everything you love about yesteryear’s disco rhythms and today’s dance beats is very effectively interwoven into these monstrous song mixes which has ‘classic’ written all over them. If you want to let loose dancing and partying, this is the next EP you should buy.
I mean, how refreshing it is to hear electronic musicians of this day and age actually digging deep and making catchy, melodic music like this. And how can you not love those Sax interludes, which have all but been abandoned by the new school of Dance music!
The energy, performance and most of the sound and harmonies are unbelievable. I normally do not go easily for today’s new dance music, which I find to be to candy store generic for me, but House of Pryme really enjoy their music and it shows very clearly. You cannot help but get into the groove with them.
It’s great to hear a creative electronic unit that has such a promising future. House of Pryme is one of those rarities in an age of forgettable one-hit iron ducks. On “Hey Hey”, they offer a world-friendly set of mixes that will set everyone dancing again. Together with Rosy Donovan, they complete a wonderful collaboration and a fantastic EP!
Rocco DiVinci, Lord Fisher and St John have really figured out how to create a great song and an array of superb mixes which will put most people in a better mood. And that’s almost 100% of what dance music is really supposed to do!
“Hey Hey” is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and other leading digital retailers; the music is also available on SFNRECORDS.com
