LAZ3RD: “Fuck Paradise” – A new kind of EDM imagery

LAZ3RD says he was quick to make the jump to music in 2012 when ambition struck at a very pivotal time in his life. With a background in filmmaking and inspired by the likes of Nirvana, Skrillex, and Deadmau5 he aims to create a sound that captures the authenticity of the 90’s with a modern flavor pioneered by his favorite electronic producers.

LAZ3RD just recently dropped his first FREE DOWNLOAD track of 2015, titled “Fuck Paradise”. Here he shows that he is just as great a composer as a producer and mixer. The track, in my opinion is a statement by LAZ3RD about electronic music, and it’s basically being the modern extension of a symphony as far as musical purity and supremacy is concerned.

The difference is that LAZ3RD keeps it minimal, crisp and clean with a faint oriental flavor in the melody. The prominent bassline will have the dance-floor moving and the synth riffs will instill a new kind of feeling into listeners. A new kind of EDM imagery is achieved, different from the usual house. I have a critical ear for melody, and not once did I find myself wanting to skip forward just 30 seconds to get past any boring repetition.

Not only did my ears like it, but it’s such strong dance track that I just couldn’t help moving to the beat. “Fuck Paradise” gets the blood flowing, the feet stomping and the head bopping.

“Fuck Paradise” is culmination of intricate sound effects, hypnotic synths, clever non-cheesy vocal interludes, and some thunderous bass kicks. Not only can LAZ3RD mix like a master, but he can create his own music and it can produce great vibes. I recommend this to anyone who is into EDM, even if you aren’t a hardcore fan of the genre.

LAZ3RD has crafted a fine instrumental track, which can stand on its own. It also has excellent staying power.  I listened to “Fuck Paradise” numerous times in a row and never got bored; proof that LAZ3RD has become good at making very strong and substantial tunes!
