Gary Pratt started playing guitar at the early age of nine years old. He started with the blues and soon after got into rock, but playing the blues is his main love. Never having a lesson or schooling in music, he continues to developed his skills and a style of his own. He says he was influenced by Jimi Hendrix,Jeff Beck, Led Zeppelin, Kenny Wayne Shepherd,Tommy Castro,Joe Bonamassa, Walter Trout and the great Stevie Ray Vaughan. Pratt has performed in many groups and performed all over the country. In 2008 he went solo as a guitar instrumentalist. He hopes to be recognized as a blues artist. Today Gary Pratt is one of the newest rising blues artists and is currently working on a new CD release (Reach Out) Listen to “Honey Pie” for a taste of Gary’s guitar style.
