OLIVIA ROSE WALLACE is an American singer-songwriter born and raised in a town outside of Flint Michigan. Her mother Nicole (Bowers) was born in Canada and the daughter to Guyanese immigrants, while her American-born father, Michael Wallace, is the son of Irish/Italian immigrants. Since Olivia first started debuting covers on Soundcloud, she has been approached by numerous trap, hip hop and rap artists for song collaborations, which would seem to be a perfect vocal marriage with her soulfully wide-ranging voice. Currently Olivia is working on her upcoming EP, and has released the single, “Black Magik”.
There have been a raft of vocalists with a sound that harks back to the 50s, 60’s and 70’s and you could be forgiven for thinking that OLIVIA ROSE WALLACE is just another one of these. It’s really been a while since I have heard something quite as good, or as special as this.
Olivia slips past many of the current pop divas, into the realms of the truly classy, smooth and quietly angsty. She has a voice that will certainly mark her career out as one that could potentially have real longevity with its old-soul, jazzy, and syrupy sweet vocals. Her voice will send shivers down the spine and this single is an excellent taster of her talent.

What a treat, what a breath of fresh air, what a sensation! As mentioned previously, her sound inspires memories of eras gone by; and yet it’s still spot-on original, very contemporary and this girl has a very defined voice and talent that is absolutely her own.
