Influenced by Funk, R&B, Neo-Soul and Jazz, Irma has already written a bunch of songs, not least her latest single “Don’t’ Be Messin’” which has powerful urban-pop elements. The song is upbeat and funky, yet still has that soul essence which embodies R&B. It flows with a bit of old school, a bit of new school, a bit of pop, and a bit of funk, reflecting Irma’s personality which seems to come across as a wise mature young urban woman. This is a track that will capture you at the very first listen.

The thing that’s so electrifying about Irma Seleman is she has the phenomenal ability to transcend genres in her music. Her abilities are not merely relegated to one style. Irma’s music is designated to the two things we should all have – ‘heart’ and ‘soul’.  This is most evident on songs such as “Without Out” and “You Got Me”. The creative components on “Don’t’ Be Messin’” changes slightly from those songs, adding-up to a single that captures her fun and playful sides while remaining true to Irma’s emotional realness, shown throughout all her works.

Irma Seleman is fun, spicy, deep and passionate. She has matured since releasing “Try, if you love”, and is ready to take chances, which reflects in her current musical choices. She has manages to improve by significant degrees with each song release and establishes a good progression forward rather than just tread water.

Irma has polished her sound considerably, added more depth in the writing and producing of her songs. She confidently sings with ease and conviction surpassing her previous works, and absolutely shares her point of view while carrying the audience with her on her quest of love and life.

“Don’t’ Be Messin’” is a must for any fan of funky, upbeat music. It makes you feel good and makes you want to dance. Go out and get it!
