Greatminds is a music production team based in London (UK) who has dropped the single “RUN” featuring NK & Yassin. The track delivers motivational music meant to inspire different people. The listener is delighted with a full set of well-crafted and nicely polished verses and choruses that are incredibly euphonious, uplifting, and addictive. I have listened to the track multiple times and I can firmly say that the Greatminds team did a superb job with this track.
I love the insane degree of enthusiasm that is infused into the arrangement of this instantly catchy and ubiquitous song. Soaring and awe-inspiring in an elegantly understated way, the lyrics are heartwarming, stirring and memorable in a song that will make you think, hum and sing along effortlessly. This track exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t familiar with the Greatminds or NK & Yassin until I heard “RUN”, but they are awesome!
I was in awe at the flawless harmonies and the so many directions the song takes and it all works excellently. The excellent vocals, the jangly guitars, the smooth keys, the throbbing drums and the undulating strings which all mix together to create a sound that will make you feel emotionally charge.
Their sound is not only awesome but the fact that they add live strings into the arrangement brings that singular touch of authenticity that very few pop releases have.
Apart from the music production, vocal performances and instrumental execution, this project needs to be complemented for its lyrical input. “RUN” ft. NK & Yassin has lyrics that are expressive and smart.
I love the intricate way the lyrics weave together so that they can have many different meanings to many different people. It can really hold for an audience of whatever age and life experience level. You can be inspired and uplifted by these lyrics no matter what your circumstance.
With so much of the current music being so loud and overwhelming that the house rattles, it is refreshing to hear melody, harmony and the words to a song, without it losing any of its captivating musical power whatsoever. In a nutshell, “RUN” ft. NK & Yassin is beautiful, haunting, enchanting, powerful and mood elevating. All powered by the amazing London based production team – Greatminds!
