BaBa Sax recently released the electro-pop single “My Heart Could Burst”. And obviously, the fascinating thing about the song is that the lead instrument is the saxophone. A brass instrument played with a single-reed mouthpiece. Nothing could be further away from modern electro-pop than the saxophone, yet BaBa Sax delivers a hot melody over an electro-groove that sizzles and thrills like no other.
Now BaBa Sax has dropped another single in his very own unique genre. This one’s called “Keep Your Hands Apart”, and on it Baba Sax switches his smoldering saxophone sound with rapping vocal interludes, to add yet another edge to his already grooving sound.
There are certain pieces of work that must be included in any decent music collection no matter what your taste in music. We usually refer to these as “classics”. “Keep Your Hands Apart” is one of those. A delight from beginning to end! More than just fine musical workmanship and technique, BaBa Sax captures the soul and essence of the melody.
The single shows a new way for dance music, where BaBa Sax is heading into the future, and taking his saxophone into a different direction. If you love the sound of a grooving sax and great improvisation, over a funky dance rhythm, grab this track. It has wonderful instrumentation and superior musicianship!
