AntBanks380 is the founder and creator of EarHustlingFamily originating out of Houston, Texas. The God Fearing Gangster single was released on January 1, 2013 and is available in several multimedia formats. This single was just a teaser of the full album, God Fearing Gangsters, which was released later this year. God Fearing Gangster is a refreshing change of pace and surrounds one with the enticing aroma of originality, as AntBanks380 spreads a positive message through this unique rap.
This is not some cheesy, preachy, holier than thou hymnal, rather it’s a reflection of the go-hard gangster lifestyle with a positive swing. AntBanks380 spits rhymes most can relate to in these modern times. Best of all, this gangster rap does not have to be censored, as it is devoid of vulgar and expletory language.
GOD Fearing Gangsters is without a doubt AntBanks380’s best work. From the moment he starts out to end the album, you get a non-stop rush of adrenaline throughout. AntBanks380 covers a broad range of socially relevant topics from racism, sexism, crime, impressions, freedom, and tons of others. Every song has a message, and AntBanks380 comes across as a philosophical genus. Musically, this album is also very diverse. The production provides great beats that really match the lyrics AntBanks380 creates. “GOD Fearing Gangsters ” sets the stage for Houston Texas to become a hip hop powerhouse.

At first listen you probably won’t get an impression of how superb this album is. The tracks wonder all over the hip-hop map, and that might leave the average listener somewhat confused. However, upon further getting into “GOD Fearing Gangsters“, one cannot but recognize that it’s the epitome of what it takes to make an exemplary gangsta-rap without cursing or explicit language. And let me assure you, the number of filler tracks here amounts to zero.
AntBanks380 flawlessly blends together very different lyrical topics and musical themes. Whether he is rapping fast or menacingly low-key and slow, he sounds very convincing, and his rhymes are tastefully good. The music gives lots of variety as well, both in beats and in melodies, ranging from floating funky chords, to harder hip-hop beats, to slow flowing rhythms.
Unfortunately I cannot supply individual track names of any standouts, as the album for reviewing came in a special all-rolled-into-one digital track. “GOD Fearing Gangsters“, has a flow and concept to it that many rap albums just don’t have, and it goes beyond the usual rap that grows tiresome after a while. It’s valid and powerful, and there are a lot of topical references that keep it fresh.
Many of the slickly packaged corporate pretenders that litter the hiphop genre, probably couldn’t hold a candle to a real deal like AntBanks380. “GOD Fearing Gangsters“, is near the top of my list as a favorite hiphop album, because the music, lyrics, flow and production is tight!
