“Blues Jazz Love” is different from the songs Golden Boy (Fospassin) has released previously. This song has an edgier sound. It has a level of trippy ambiance with much more focus on the guitars, showing the many variations of artistry that Golden Boy possess. In an era where the music industry stresses danceability over singing ability and caters to entertainers over those with real talent, it’s refreshing to find a universal artist like Golden Boy (Fospassin) able to diversify into his own, off the beaten track style, in the midst of all the vapid and forgettable music we hear on the charts.
“Blues Jazz Love” is very unusual in its construction, compared to the regular pop song. Instead of relying on the usual verse-chorus-verse formula, the entire song sounds like it is constructed on a bridge or refrain passage. This is something I have hardly heard done before, soo hats off to Golden Boy (Fospassin), for once again attempting something new in his music!
