What I appreciate about Dr ant is that he seems to introduce a new school feel to his music, while maintaining that old school R&B/Gospel flavor. His music is a real, true testament of someone who has a strong yet humble relationship with his brethren, his family and with the Lord.
Dr ant’s messages will feed your soul and he has articulated the testimony of his heart while the musical arrangements are beautiful. I listened to “Measure of My Love” in the car, the house, and the office, and this pretty much made my soul soar. Many people who have been through the problems that inspired Dr ant to write this song, can easily understand what this track is all about. This rousing powerhouse with electrifying vocals and spirit-stirring message resounds with the love and simple thank you that needs to be uttered to a mother constantly, for all her endless sacrifices and in my opinion, for just being who she is.
At times, while listening to the track, it seems as if Dr ant’s voice has been around for years. Hopefully, the world will share this single by word of mouth so that the message that he shares through “Measure of My Love” will touch many Christian-hearted music enthusiasts. There is something especially moving about this single. It is a timely and gripping message for the world considering that domestic violence, homelessness and rape are continually on the increase. Dr ant has a voice to be reckoned with and a heart to be envied.
