TRZ remixes George Clinton into his funky “Put a Hump in ya Back” release!

TRZ returns with a remake of the original song “Put a Hump in ya Back”. The new-mix has been described as “a homage to a generation of funk artists” and “a producer you can’t sleep on”. Produced solely by TRZ, featuring vocals from Parliament Funk artist George Clinton, the official remix is available October 1st 2015 for free download exclusively from www.itstrz.com and Soundcloud.

TRZ has always been the kind of artist that does what he wants, and most of the time does it very well. The “Put a Hump in ya Back” remix is no exception to the rule. But this is not a return to form; it’s a completely new direction that, once again, shows that TRZ is magic. This is an undaunted TRZ blending Funk, Hiphop and EDM traces like only he can.

Smoking hot. This is what TRZ is all about on “Put a Hump in ya Back”. As a genuine, certified funkaholic I have to testify that TRZ manages to squeeze a whole lot of groove out of a bassline which dominates this track. Considering that groups like Parliament and Funkadelic used heavily layered arrangements to create their funky grooves.

TRZ takes the central bassline and rides it out with vocals, rap verses and some simple synths, creating enough of a vibe to snap your fingers or nod your head to. Right from the first few seconds of this song I knew I’d be enjoying the entire ride. The remix TRZ has crafted just extends into clean, punchy, polished funk, and all the depth you expect from the Clinton kingdom is there.

“Put a Hump in ya Back” contains all the diversity’s that funk bands and George Clinton approached in their golden years; psychedelic funk, groove, jam, and spacey effects. TRZ’s remix may be a modern turn on those topics, but there’s no doubt about those bass lines – simply amazing!
